The Little Engine That (Eventually) Could

When I was 15 years old, I learned to drive. Now, I have a (virtually) clean driving record.

When I was 11, I learned how to play my flute. Today, a lovely diploma sits proudly on my bookshelf.

When I was 2, I could speak in complete sentences. Credit goes to my parents for skipping the baby talk.

When I was 9 months old, I took my very first steps. Today, I'm not the most graceful woman, but I have two functioning legs that can take me anywhere.

I guess what I'm trying to say is...
Just because I'm bad at something today, doesn't mean I'll always be bad.
Each of these things took lots of practice and lots of TRYING.

Tonight, I got on the treadmill and tried.

Tomorrow, I'll try again.
